The original idea behind a blog was for any individual to share what is going on in his or her life with the world. Creating a blog comes free, so very quickly the massive advantage of having a blog to make money online became very clear to many and thus the blogospehere has expanded by leaps and bounds.

These days there is hardly a single website that does not have a link to its own blog that customers may click on. This link takes them straight to a daily updated site called a blog where the company can share information as it becomes available. Making money blogging became a reality for many as these blogs are quite high maintenance sites that need full time attention.

Blogs that stay interesting enough to see a lot of return readers have one thing in comment – they get update daily and some even hourly. This takes a serious amount of time dedicated by the blog writer and companies soon realized that they should stand off a worker to do this job only or hire extra staff to handle the constant needs of blogging.

The cost of hiring extra staff members can be very high, so getting a freelancer to write blogs just made mores sense to business owners. Soon making money blogging became a career for many of these home based writers as companies started to hire them on contract basis rather than full time employment deals.

Making money blogging quickly became an industry all of its own with websites dedicated to function as landing sites for employers to find employees. Companies place ads searching for experts to write their blogs for them, handle the comments from the blogs and even answer questions in the chat room of these blogs.

Soon writers from all parts of the world started working for companies all over the world. Countries like India and Pakistan became targets of huge American based businesses as these people will work for quite reduced rate and still make money blogging, enough to keep them alive.

Casual Internet readers prefer reading blogs another than serious business sites, but companies use this less formal environment to p[lace links to the services they offer. Clients follow these links should the be in need of the product described. Consumers blogs are rife with new products being introduced via this forum, giving buyers a full description of the product as well as reviews from other people reading the blog. More informed customers buy from websites after spending some time learning about their prospective purchases on blogs.

In some cases the blogger can make money blogging about products that he or she sells themselves. This is a cheap an easy way of doing product sales and as most blogs have no restriction on content or control thereof, these blogs can sell almost anything you desire.

Unfortunately the criminal aspect of the human race is just as hard at work creating false blogs with products that do not exist. These people make money blogging illegal sales opportunities and are very difficult to trace once you get caught in one of their schemes, as the blogging business keeps no real record of who writes from where on blogs.

Have a good look at the blogs you read and appreciate the effort which goes into keeping your favorite blog up to date for your reading pleasure.
